Please make sure that any coaches or officials that did not attend the Update on Nov 5 or 6, 2016 or the Update in Nov 2015, attend this Update. It is required by USSA that all Officials (this includes coaches that are REFs) attend an Update at least every other year. If they do not attend, they are not allowed to officiate.

It's October now! Wow - that snuck up fast. HEY, we have a new website! Consider this the official announcement! We also have registration up and running for Team Afton USSA programs and camps. So, go ahead - REGISTER! The sooner we get people integrated into our new system, the better we can communicate with you.

Our Mission Team Afton loves ski racing, we believe it teaches valuable lessons in a unique way. Our mission is to help our members succeed in ski racing, whether a high school racer or an international competitor. We provide a comprehensive high quality program designed to help athletes of all abilities achieve their racing goals.

ARC is a recreational program that introduces participants aged 7 to 18 (jr ARC is for participants aged 5 & 6) to alpine ski racing in a fun and friendly environment. Over the 11 weeks, athletes will improve their fundamental skiing skills while free-skiing and will work on race tactics during gate training. Athletes will participate as part of Team Afton in four Midwest Snowsports Development League (MDSL) race days at Afton or other nearby ski areas.

Our Mission:

The Afton Alps Development Team’s mission is to give young snowboarders and twin tippers an opportunity to develop and enhance their skills through participation in a high quality program that emphasizes safety, fun, and learning. We are dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals and reach or exceed their expectations. Our program’s design challenges each athlete to do his/her best while maintaining the enjoyment of riding/skiing.
