With that in mind – we should certainly capitalize on this early season blessing.
Unfortunately, we've had to cancel our plans to host a camp in Colorado following Christmas due to lack of interest. We hope to continue pursing opportunities like this in the future - but for now, let's have a great camp period at Afton Alps!
Ho-Ho-Ho, We're tickled to announce our 2nd season with a post-Christmas VAIL training project. This is a U14 and older project (younger skiers may apply – but need approval from program director).
Though details are limited at this time, we hope to be updating with more info soon.
A three-day race training camp designed to get you ready for the season. This camp is perfect for racers competing in MSDL (ARC), high school or college racing. A mix of training in SL and GS courses along with free ski skill development under the guidance of our experienced coaching team.
Thanksgiving Camp is included in the cost of Team Afton – USSA Rising Stars and USSA programs.
Hello Team Afton,
If you missed the opportunity to order spirit wear at the Shindig, the link to WSI sports is: https://wsisports.com/pages/afton-alps
Download the order form and then email it to email@example.com
Also, we are not limited to what is on the order form. If you see something on the WSI website you would like, they will happily put the Team Afton logo on it for you (which is really nice and rather rare in this industry!)
We're keen to be hosting our 3rd season early season project. This is a U14 and older project (younger skiers may apply – but need approval from program director).
Hope you all are having a wonderful Summer so far. Below are the details for Team Afton’s Summer dryland program that will be begin on Monday June 12th.
ARC is a recreational program that introduces participants aged 7 to 18 (jr ARC is for participants aged 5 & 6) to alpine ski racing in a fun and friendly environment. Over the 11 weeks, athletes will improve their fundamental skiing skills while free-skiing and will work on race tactics during gate training. Athletes will participate as part of Team Afton in four Midwest Snowsports Development League (MDSL) race days at Afton or other nearby ski areas.
The Afton Alps Development Team’s mission is to give young snowboarders and twin tippers an opportunity to develop and enhance their skills through participation in a high quality program that emphasizes safety, fun, and learning. We are dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals and reach or exceed their expectations. Our program’s design challenges each athlete to do his/her best while maintaining the enjoyment of riding/skiing.
