Team Afton Early Season Camp
November 7-10, 2024
Loveland Ski Area -- Dillon, CO
Early Season Camp is open to all Team Afton Race Team athletes. Training will take place Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10 at Loveland Ski Area in Dillon, Colorado.
Schedule:
November 7: Directed free-ski meet late morning ~ 4 hours
November 8: Morning directed free ski. 1pm-4pm gate training.
November 9: Morning directed free ski. 1pm-4pm gate training.
November 10: 8:30am-11am gate training.
Ages: 11+
*Athletes 10 and under may be able to attend with approval from from Program Director, Tony Olin.
*Athletes 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult and be provided daily transportation.
Price: $750
Price for this camp includes training only. Participants will be responsible for cost of lift tickets, transportation, and lodging (we will be reserving a room block at the Microtel in Georgetown - details about reservation will become available upon registration). There are limited team travel options for older athletes. This must be coordinated with Program Director, Tony Olin.

What to Expect
- 5-days of training including work in GS and SL courses (snow conditions permitting)
- Working with our US Ski & Snowboard coaches on skill development.
- A positive, fun environment that will enhance your race skills.
Ages: 6 to 20+
Skill Level: Strong Intermediate/Advanced

Are you a High Schooler with designs on next season's triumphs? D-Teamer/ARC'er who wants more training this season? Maybe you're simply new to ski racing and want to check-it-out; so let's check it out - your intrigue and enthusiasm are the first ingredients! If you are serious about developing your racing skills and want to get a feel for what goes into USSS training you can join us now. We will hopefully go well into March- who knows, maybe even April! There’s a good chunk of snow-time remaining this season.
When: Choose 2 nights per week, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, Sundays 4:30-7:00 when available.
